STERLING ALASKA
Trip information
What to expect
Kenai Salmon and Trout can be the biggest, hardest fighting fresh water fish anywhere. To ensure your Alaska fishing experience is one you will never forget, we use the best equipment available and supply all the tackle and bait. Our fully licensed and Coast Guard inspected, 20’ North River Guide boat, seats four fisherman and is equipped with G. Loomis Rods, Penn International, and Shimano Reels. We will fish a full 12 hours, 6am to 6pm, depending on the clients wishes, and encourage catch and release to maximize your fishing experience. At the end of the day, we will fillet your catch and direct you to a processor for vacuum sealing and freezing. They will then hold your fish till you are ready to go, then either pack it in insulated fish boxes for the flight home, or overnight
ship it to you when you are home.
What you need to bring
You will need an Alaska fishing license, and King stamp, which you can pick up at almost any store or gas station in the area or go on line at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game
Alaska weather changes all the time, so you will want to dress warmly in layers and include hats and raingear. Also pack a cooler or duffle bag for extra clothes, camera, lunch, snacks, and beverages.
